The Arroyo is cut from hand-finished full-grain leather in Black Coffee — black at a glance, with a depth under it that plain black leather never quite manages. Full-grain is the top cut of the hide, the layer with all the strength in it, and the hand finishing means no two pairs land identical. The lug outsole is durable rubber with real bite, made for rain and bad pavement. Between them sits Goodyear welt construction — stitched, not glued, so the boot is resoleable for the life of the upper. Inside: a full supple glove leather lining, hardwearing steel shanks, cork-bed midsoles that form to your feet, and antimicrobial shock-absorbing insoles. Reinforced eyelets carry Kevlar blend laces. A lug sole makes this the winter half of your rotation. Wear it hard through the wet months and let the full-grain scars tell the story.
