Brimley Desert Brown Lug Boot

The Brimley is the bad-weather half of a good wardrobe: Desert Brown leather up top, a durable rubber lug outsole down below, and a construction standard that treats winter as a scheduling detail. The leather is rugged and resilient, in a dry, dusty brown that hides weather stains better than darker shades do. The lug outsole bites into wet pavement and worse, and because the boot is Goodyear welted — stitched, not glued — that outsole can be renewed by any competent cobbler when the tread finally rounds off. Hardwearing steel shanks and cork-bed midsoles that form to your feet handle the structure; a full supple glove leather lining handles the comfort. Long-lasting Kevlar blend laces, custom reinforced eyelets and antimicrobial shock-absorbing insoles finish the build. This is the pair by the door from November through March. It will look better in April than it did in October.
