Rich Mahogany is furniture-grade colour — reddish, deep, polished-looking before any polish goes near it — and the Brooks wears it as hand-finished full-grain leather on the cleanest silhouette there is: the chelsea. Flexible elastic goring does the work of a fastening, so the boot slips on and holds snug with nothing to tie or break. Goodyear welt construction stitches the upper to a leather outsole studded with TPU for traction — the dressed-up sole, weatherproofed where it counts. The full-grain hide is hand-finished, giving each pair its own depth of red-brown. Inside runs a complete supple glove leather lining, cork-bed midsoles that form to your feet with wear, and comfortable shock-absorbing insoles.
