The upper is rugged, resilient leather on Goodyear welt construction: stitched, sealed, resoleable for as long as the leather lasts, which is long. The durable anti-slip rubber wedge outsole puts full surface on the ground. Hardwearing steel shanks keep the arch honest. Inside, the lining is supple glove leather end to end, the insoles are antimicrobial and shock-absorbing, and the cork-bed midsoles form to your feet a little more each wear. Long-lasting Kevlar blend laces feed custom reinforced eyelets. Black-on-black with these reads sharp; with faded jeans it reads relaxed.
