Anejo — aged-spirit brown, amber at the edges — comes to the Ellsworth as hand-finished full-grain leather on the range's moto frame: padded collar, dual entry, serious tread. The hand-finished hide gives each pair its own depth of colour, and it is backed by hardware chosen for the long run. Long-lasting Rubi zippers open the boot in a second; Kevlar blend laces through custom developed reinforced eyelets keep the fit dialled where you set it. The padded collar supports and protects the ankle. Goodyear welt construction stitches the upper to Army Track rubber lug outsoles, so even the deep tread is replaceable when the miles finally claim it. Cork-bed midsoles form to your feet, with Poron antimicrobial shock-absorbing insoles above. Warm leather on aggressive tread is the whole personality: refined at a glance, capable underneath. Wear it with anything that is not fragile.
