The Grafton carries a leather with a passport: exclusive Indigo Chromexcel, developed with the Horween Tannery in Chicago, traceable to a single herd of White Oak Pastures cattle. Deep blue-dark, alive in the light, and different on every pair — natural colour variation is expected here and is a large part of what makes the leather so distinctive. The build honours the provenance. Goodyear welt construction stitches the upper to durable studded rubber outsoles, keeping the boot resoleable for decades. A Poron antimicrobial shock-absorbing insole cushions each step, and cork-bed midsoles form to your feet as the leather breaks in around them. The pair is handcrafted in the USA. Indigo CXL ages the way its name suggests — like something dyed by hand, deepening and burnishing where you live in it. Wear it with everything; nothing else in the room will match it.
